I hope everyone had a fantastic Memorial weekend.

Ours was very relaxing. It was so nice just to relax and watch movies. 

I ended up purchasing Hulu Plus and I can see a week of catching up on Revenge in my future.

Any other recommendations?

We also were talking about the wedding and I can't decide whether I should wear a veil or not. My dress has buttons going down the back and it's just so pretty, my hair will be in a romantic up-do with a flower on the side, I really want the drama and tradition of the veil but I'm afraid I'll have too much going on.

What do y'all think?

I'm looking forward to this weekend, after 90 degree weather we'll be getting days in the 60's and 70's. 

I think it might be time to use some of those Groupons I purchased.

How great is her outfit for Memorial weekend?

So I've been tossing an idea around in my head and I plan on doing single photo inspiration posts over on my art blog, hopefully I will be able to post 5 days a week Monday through Friday or every other day depending on my schedule.

Tomorrow we're headed to our local university's softball stadium my future niece's high school is playing in a softball tournament. I'm so excited they've done so well this year!

Afterwards ADR and I are going to the Asian Festival.

The casino was so much fun and ADR had a fantastic 30th B-day.

Forgive me if this post is a bit scattered, I'm still exhausted from the trip.

I confess I've never gambled before but the flashing lights and pretty sounds of the slot machines got me!

It was great staying in a hotel that we never had to leave, they had it all- boutiques, restaurants, live entertainment and a spa.

Friday ADR and I spent the night just the two of us, we went to the steakhouse for dinner and then we gambled until around midnight. 

Saturday the rest of the R family came out to celebrate. We gambled most of the time, a couple of us hit big on the slots (I was not one of them haha.) 

By Sunday we were ready to come home and see our puppy.

I spent most of the car ride listening to audio books while ADR watched Sons of Anarchy and by watch I mean listened. I swear this is how we get through long car rides together.

The divine bathroom. The Jacuzzi tub was a welcome sight at the end of the night after walking around all day some of the time in heels.

The view from our room, you can't tell from this photo but we had a view of the golf course and the pool.

How I enjoyed most of my weekend (ADR was in a poker tournament 20 feet away, I sneaked in behind him , so he wouldn't be distracted.)

I purchased this pretty bag from one of the boutiques after my purse strap broke. Also I was in love with that ottoman.

The stack of magazines I brought for the car ride. Yes, these have all been piling up waiting for me to read.

Finally it's Friday! 

I know I haven't been around much this week, I've been trying to get everything settled at home before we leave town.

Also I've been seriously thinking about creating an Instagram account. I love the idea and I've been posting more personal photos on here. 

Do y'all use Instagram, what do you like/dislike about it?

I think I might have over packed for a two and a half day trip but a girl needs options! Right???

I found out Avon was having a free shipping promotion so I stocked up on a few essentials. My mama got me hooked on the Foot Works line and if you're not using it you need to be! It's amazing, anytime my feet start feeling a little dry (thanks to winter or wearing flip flops to ADR's softball games) I lather on their overnight cream and pull on some socks, the next day my feet are baby smooth and moisturized.

I haven't talked about apps in a while and I have to tell y'all about this new app called Bsafe by Bipper communications It's available for Android, IOS and Blackberry. 

It was designed to keep you safe when your alone. 

The home screen has a big "panic button" as I like to call it, and when you push it a message goes out to your "guardians" a list of people you assign to receive said message. It tells them you're in trouble and gives them your location via GPS. You can also assign one contact that the app will automatically call. 

I love to walk and a majority of the time it's alone, this app definitely makes me feel safer.

I hope all the mamas out there had a wonderful Mother's Day. I celebrated with my mom and Grandma. It's amazing seeing the three generations of us together, all of us at different stages in life. I honestly couldn't be more blessed.

Even though I am not a mother I woke up to breakfast in bed Sunday morning, ADR is full of surprises. 

Later in the morning ADR and his groomsmen went and got fitted for their tuxes while I stayed at home searching for the perfect bridal shoes. I found several pairs I really like. 

I have to keep reminding myself that I am a klutz and will be wearing a long flowing gown and that 5" heels are not a good idea lol.

How did you spend Mother's day?

I'm anxiously awaiting Friday, I can't wait to go to the casino. ADR has made plans for us to stop by this little restaurant we stopped at last summer, I have to say I've been dreaming of their delicious desserts.

I've planned all my outfits now I'm just crossing my fingers that I don't forget my cell phone charger.

Glimpse of my weekend

This little beauty is a gift from my grandmother, I am absolutely in love with it. I've worn it everyday since Sunday and I'm positive it'll be my new fashion staple.

I also realized that every watch I own except for one are gifts from my grandmother. 

She's always told me how important time is and how you should always be ten minutes early to make a good impression. She's also been known to set her watch five minutes fast so that she is never late. 

I've followed her advice and have always had a good experience.
